More of a humorous story than a scary horror tale, this entry in the A-Z of Horror short stories was definitely one of the most fun. Basically we've got a quarantine officer at Melbourne airport who encounters the usual pretend I don't speak English traveler who falsely fills in their are you bringing in prohibited items into the country card and tries to smuggle in food from their own country risking the health and existence of unique Australian wildlife and the livelihood of Australian farmers. The quarantine officer is getting bit sick of the selfish attitude of travelers and contemplates doing something else for a career, when a woman from China tries to smuggle in a range of prohibited food including a large orange. This orange though isn't your usual orange and its going to make this shift a lot more interesting.There's a couple of minor things though that show Iain is from the UK that his Australian character wouldn't do. Such as referring to himself as an Ozzie. Ozzie was a pink ostrich puppet, Aussie is what he probably meant. Also the N word equivalent for aboriginals has just one b. But none of this matters, Q is for Quarantine is a great short story.

Very good short story
Wasn't really scary, but good imaginative writing. More silly scary to me. Might read another. Like the movie and of death.
Each one is interesting and brutal. It will be interesting to see the end results. XYZ will be a interesting read

Spenny works at the international customs section of the Australian airport. One day, before heading out for a break, Spenny takes some candies and an orange he confiscated earlier to the Quarantine lockers, they will remain there while waiting for disposal. That's when he notices something strange.
I really enjoyed this little short story. No noticeable typos, errors with sentence structure, the characters were well defined, the storyline well thought out. Highly Recommended.
